Food Preservation: Pressure Canning, Water Bath Canning and Freezing July 12th, 2024

Learn pressure canning, water bath canning, and freezing from our good friend Mrs. Mary Ella Zimmerman at Von Holten Ranch!

Mrs. Mary Ella is Mennonite and owns a catering business. She is a treasure to our community and we can't wait to learn from her! 

What you'll get:

  • Canning and food preserving taught hands on in small groups at Missouri's Best Ranch for 2024 
  • Full day of learning 9am-4pm. Classroom and Kitchen. 
  • Learn preservation techniques for green beans, tomatoes, corn, and peaches. 
  • Lunch is included  

This event will take place on Friday, July 12th 2024 at Von Holten Ranch in our heated venue, from 9 am-4pm. Lunch will be included.
